Disk2ADF and ADF2Disk

CLI-based software for creating ADFs from real floppy disks, or vice versa

Disk2ADF, ADF2Disk

Version 2.1, 9/13/2024
By David Dunklee

The AmigaLove Software Archive would not have been possible without the use of David Dunklee's fantastic program “Disk2ADF”. You can put these files anywhere you like, however I put them in my C drive so I can quickly use them the moment I fire up a Shell window.

DISK2ADF

This program, run from the CLI/Shell, can be used to create ADF files from physical floppy disks.

For example:

Disk2ADF from DF0: to DH1:UserGroups/BUG/BUG_0912.ADF

Obviously, replace DF0: with the drive you're using. And replace DH1:/ with wherver you want to write the file. The folders need to already exist.

ADF2DISK

This works just like the other program but in reverse. It allows you to take an ADF file you have stored on your Amiga and write it to a formatted floppy disk.

For example:

ADF2Disk from DH1:UserGroups/BUG/BUG_0912.ADF to DH0:
