How much would you charge to fix the IDE port on it? It has been recently recapped and was working great with the furia before this happened.
Did you put Kickstart 3.1.4 in your A600? Did you install WB3.1.4 too? Have you had any issues with booting?

Yes, I put the rom in and also installed the software. I have a Furia in the machine also. The machine works great.

Would just like to say Obitus did a great job with my 600. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for help with Amiga repairs. Over a year later and all is still well.

Old thread, I know... I just wanted to say well done and you made me quite proud to see the shout out and the results of the work you did for him.

As for me doing repairs, I am doing them on a case by case basis. This pandemic and my full time jobs schedule has me travel a lot, so its just hit or miss if I am here, and if I am the potential for me to be slow and getting things back can pop up often is all. If that is okay with you, feel free to reach out. I do try and teach several people I know well enough and if I feel confident in them I pass people on to them as well. I only have one person I no longer feel good about referring people over from past work and current practices. Ask me and I will tell you, wont do it in public.
