Hello all,
I am a vintage computer and game console collector in Des Moines, IA. And out of all the consoles, the Amiga has a special place in my heart.
I first became aware of the Amiga in 1998 as a 12 year old kid interning at Raymond Computer in Saint Paul, MN. Aside from selling PC's, they happened to be a Commodore dealer of all things. Soon I became interested in the computer platform and what its future meant under Gateway 2000. (So much for that.) Ray used an A2000 in his office.
16 years later, I would acquire an Amiga 1000. Using Workbench 1.3 and a second disk drive has made for an enjoyable experience. For emulation, I use Amiga Forever and WinUAE.
Currently I'm on the quest for Amiga prototype hardware and preliminary documentation. The latter of which I will post in the future if anyone's interested.
Cheers,
-Bernard
