Almost done... now if only Jim Drew's keycap campaign would come to fruition...

Looking great! Did you end up printing the plate or having it cut?
Had it cut. Found a guy locally who was somewhat reasonable. I'm thinking of doing a small run of them to sell.

I hadn't even looked closely at that plate. Was it powder coated? That looks just like a Mechboard! Woah

Yes, it is powder coated, machine bent, and laser cut using Lau's drawings.

I'd be down for 2 plates! I think this is great as I picked a blank PCB off of ebay a few weeks ago and am thinking both my U64 and special projects PAL 64 case are going to love a modern keyboard.

Any ideas on the key stem adapters? Perhaps a shapeways order or similar?

I uploaded the STL for the keystem adapters to Shapeways and had them printed. They are inside the Mechboard's design archive file. It wasn't cheap, but, they fit perfectly. I think one order, including shipping and tax, was about $33.00.

The price for a plate will be $73 each, plus shipping, if anyone is interested. I'll place my order tomorrow.

Send me a PM with your ZIP code and I'll put you on the list for the plate.
