The fred fish disks exists in adf form in the TOSEC collecitions, do they not? So they are available as lha-files separately, as adf files and on cd's, right?

What doesn't exist is a nice online database with info on every program and what disk they're on. THAT is something I would love. A searchable database. Search your program, find it and what disk it's on, klick it and get info on what the program does, who wrote it, which disks it's on and so on...

I would love a database like that for more than FF disks thou. One for all different compilation series of software disks. But FF is a good start ;)

If your using your amiga to search through the FF library then there's alway KingFisher's Fish Disk Catalogue.
KingFisher is a freely distributable replacement for Aquarium, providing
a mechanism to search for software in Fred Fish's Library of Freely
Distributable Software. KingFisher has been designed for users of both
floppy-only and harddisks systems operating under either Kickstart 1.3 or
Kickstart 2.0. Some features are available only under Kickstart 2.0.
Oh, and hello. :P
