Hi all,

Solène posted a challenge online a few weeks back getting people to experiment with older computers for personal computing. I thought I'd give it a go as OS 3.2 had arrived in all it's shrink-wrapped glory.

I wrote up my experience on my newsletter/blogthing. While it's 3.2 oriented I've also included a ton of links to tutorials that should hopefully be fine on old blue! A certain Deluxe Paint video tutorial might be particularly familiar ;)

It did get me thinking a lot about how we do personal rather than work computing and what we do. For me it's much more technical exploration than most. I suspect that 99% of anything we do today could be done on an A1000, just perhaps not at the same resolutions or speed.

Hope you find it interesting and I hope the links are useful.

Steve
