Yes! That would be awesome to see a re-release! If you get any traction with that, please let me know!

Life can be busy so a DM nudge would be great.

This would be awesome to have another crack at!

Quick Update. I contacted Mr Toast via PM. He is interested in getting two full keycap sets. Thanks Mr Toast. :D

So - we have five keycap sets in total currently. TBH - I doubt this is going to be enough to make an adhoc mini production run feasible. Anyone else want in? As things stand, it's looking like the cost of a full keycap set would be approx $50.

Remember though - it's actually Loriano who would be doing all this. I am just hoping to get an idea of numbers. If we can get enough interest, then the next step would be for those who are interested to contact Loriano directly...

I'd be down for a set. You MIGHT want to go onto the Amiga FB group (if you use it) and ask there, since there are over 17,000 members to that group.

Hmmm, this could be better than spending $200 on a keyboard...count me in.

Cool. :D

So - that puts the current count at seven full keycap sets?

Anyone else?

This is Aaron from Amiga On The Lake (AOTL). We will be open to selling sets of keycaps at very reasonable prices to anyone. The problem would be that some keycaps will not fit on standard keyboards. However I think that a "mix" of keycaps may do the trick for most people that are trying to do their own build. We are using MX style keycaps so many of the keycaps will fit on standard keyboards. Keep in mind that we are open to help anyone do great things for the Amiga. :)

Christian - Great - the count is therefore at 9 keycap sets. Anyone else? I will go back to Loriano if we can get 10 I think. Hopefully that will be enough.

Aaron - I am really interested to hear more details on what Amiga On The Lake is able to offer in this area. When will you guys be able to offer standalone keyboards for A2000 or other big box Amiga models? Last time I looked at your website, this was still in the future?

Also - if you are able to sell each of the components for such a keyboard separately, e.g. Kipper2K's excellent PCB, top and bottom case, keycaps etc, then there may well be interest in these items too. I know I would be interested in building an Amiga keyboard myself.

BTW - keep up the great work for the Amiga community - your efforts are definitely appreciated. :D

Ooof, I was late to this party. I just bought my first A3000 but it came with a french keyboard so I've been looking around to see if there are any keycaps out there that I could just exchange with. All I found were kickstarters long since fulfilled. Is there any news on this. Does anyone know somewhere where I might buy a set of Norwegian keycaps for my Amiga 3000 ?

Hey there.

You got an Amiga 3000. Awesome. Hope you are enjoying it.

I don’t think we really have the numbers for this mini production run to go ahead, unfortunately.

In fact, I don’t think the Cherry MX keycaps from Loriano Pagni would meet your requirements anyway. My understanding is that all A3000 keyboards use Mitsumi switches. These are not compatible with Cherry MX keycaps.

The only place who were offering Amiga keycaps for Mitsumi switches was the A1200.net kickstarter.

The second campaign for these keycaps is over, as you say. Hopefully there may be a third phase in the not too distant future?

As for a Norwegian Amiga Keyboard, I guess the only thing to do is keep watching eBay. You do see plenty of A2000 keyboards for sale on there. Prices are high however.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Good luck with your quest.
