Today received card and installed on my Amiga 500
According to manual holding left mouse key during startup or reboot menu should pop up.
But nothing.
Kickstart is 3.1.4 since i want to install AmigaOS.
HDTool on install disk does not show anything, i suppose that IDE controller needs to be activated.

What i am doing wrong?

Thanks.

What happens if you just boot from Floppy, e.g. into workbench?

Does the card work?

Hhhhmmm... could be a bit tricky.

Maybe it helps to make sure all basic fault options are excluded.

Better double-check the wires to the motherboard and that they only have contact with the required pins, i.e. no shorts. These fly-wires can be a bit tricky.

Next you might try to run the software for the Wicher. I mean all the things that get installed with the software from Retro 7bit. Anything there maybe to adjust?

Cheers,
McT

Wires are checked and it is ok.
I tried to install but i cannot since there is no free space on floppy of course :D

I am little confused how is suppose to configure card without accessing menu.
There is very little infos how to setup.

Got info from card creator.

C/P
"For the WicherBootMenu to work, you must use the LoadModule program. Syntax below
C:LoadModule >NIL: DEVS:WicherBootMenu
This entry should be placed at the beginning of Startup-Sequence file."

Now i need to sort this, no so familiar with this kind of stuff.

EDIT: It seems that card have some issues, i cannot get whatever i tried to recognize any kind of CF card.
Tried three CF card and one IDE hdd, nothing.
IDE to CF is ok, tested in PC.
