Is there any way to grab 2V or 2.2V from the A1000 board? I'm trying to add CF card usage indicator by connecting LED which those I have are 2V or 2.2V

that sounds like forward voltage than the led's actual voltage. most common led have a fV of 2.0/2.2.

for a 2.2v forward voltage at 20ma, you can use a 150ohm 1/8w resistor.

Any particular place on the mobo to get +5V or just directly from the floppy power cable?

you should be able to grab +5v off most of the ic’s on the motherboard.

but i would just pull it from the floppy power connector.

Yeah - pulled from the floppy power. Works like a charm.
