Does anyone know the Digikey or Mouser part # for a 28.6363MHz crystal oscillator that can be used to switch a PAL machine to NTSC ?

I cant seem to find one in the correct package that has the pins.

This, but, they are not in stock. Special, large orders only.

You can buy them on amigakit.com from the UK...with the corresponding high shipping. It's called a DIP-14 or DIL-14 package, metal can crystal oscillator. Maybe someone on eBay sells them.

Unless you do genlocking, you don't need that crystal. Change J200 and you are done.

I tried doing that. I have a NEC LCD1700 4:3 screen and it wont sync up to the signal. I am going to try a more modern monitor and my Sony Trinitron CRT and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the link! Appreciate it. Based on another member's recommendation I ended up ordering the socket & oscillator from Amigakit. Just waiting for the painfully slow Royal Airmail to get it here. lol..

Are you using the15 kHz RGB port on the 3000 or the scan-doubled 30 KHz port?

I just plugged the VGA cable directly into the scan doubler port and made sure the switch was in the enabled position.

I couldn't get a proper picture.
