My Perfect A1000: 68010 + Parceiro + Rejuvenator

Isn't Parceiro requires to remove KS from the board?

Parceiro II does. The original version needs a KS.

My P2 setup is like this:

- Rejuve w/ 2MB Chip
- Parceiro II

Hmmm, I may need to go this route (well, not the 2MB chip, lol). With the Rejuve it is not so easy to have stable 3.X / 1.3 dual boot. TwinKick worked really with with just the OG Parceiro. However with the Rejuve and the KS ROM in the mix things get a bit more complex.

Hi all I have kitted my A1000 with a Rejuvenator (soon to be 2MB chip), 68010 and a Parceiro II. I don't want to remove my 3.1 ROM from the Rejuvenator as I may want to use it as a fallback or to plug in other accessories. Is there a way I can boot from the Parceiro II without removing my ROM? I thought about a ROM switcher with one side empty but was hoping for a more elegant solution.

Edit: Damn I was supposed to set my username as A1200 as per all my registrations on most Amiga forums. My eagerness just created a typo. Can usernames be updated on here?

OK so I have a kickstart switcher on the way. But I am wondering - if I was to create a Parceiro boot disk as per the 1st version, would that allow me to boot up the Parceiro 2 from HDD and leave in the 3.1 physical ROM on the Rejuvenator?

These types of unique one-off use case questions can really only be answered by one man: David Dunklee. Drop him a line and I'm sure he'll get back to you in no time.

But at a high level, the Parceiro 2 was made specifically so that the boot disk could be tossed (mainly because so many people complained about it). Then, he made it so the P2 could have multiple ROMs - including 3.1. If I were you, and I was completely sold on the P2, I'd yank out the physical ROM and be on my way.

I saw a thread on Amibay with PN# for some A1000 size compatible LEDs.

Modified the GoTek in the A1000 with them. Turned out pretty well. Need something to cover the eject button hole.
