intric8, did you ever find a satisfactory fix for your mouse? My mouse needs rebuilding too.

This seems like a ridiculous amount of work for a kit that expensive.

So, thanks to a fellow Amigan's kind mouse donation, I made a new model. One to fit a regular ball mouse (in case you *somehow* lost the trap door), and one that hopefully fits the laser upgrade kit.

disclaimer: I only noticed after uploading that there is a particular groove on the laser kit, I'll be happy to adapt my model if someone were to send me precise enough measurements
