I'm looking for a copy of Bars and Pipes Professional with included 400 page manual. If you have one willing to sell or know of someone that has it, please let me know. If you're also aware of the entire manual scanned online somewhere, that would also be useful.

Thanks and cheers!

I did find this one and some other sites that had a simplified version of the documentation, however I'm really looking for an orginal or scanned version of the 400 page manual that came with the program. There are a lot of capabilities that aren't mentioned in the summarized doc versions.

Thanks for the heads up!

Why don't you try emailing Alfred Faust for it?

I have the full Bars & Pipes 2.5 user guide. I don't have time to scan, but I could photograph it for you. There are about 360 pages I think. If you can't find it online, let me know.

I made contact with Alfred and he gave me lots of information, most of it was already on his website. His website has everything created for Bars and Pipes including additional tools and source code. The entire manual is also there as HTML files, albeit in German, but in your web browser it is easy to translate.

I'll post the full email here so that others can learn from it as well.
Hello Ron,
thanks a lot for your email.
First: I'm a german men and my english is somewhat poorly.
I hope, you can understand, what I write.

Because you wrote me a email, I guess, you found my website.
If not, here is the link:

http://www.alfred-j-faust.de

or http://bnp.hansfaust.de/

Please don't be confused about the different Internet-adresses.
The http://www.alfred-j-faust.de is my main-domain, it is internal linked to bnp.hansfaust.de

Like you may recognized, this is THE place, where ALL available material around the former
Blue Ribbon Inc. (now called newblueinc - https://www.newbluefx.com/)

I've collected more then 15 years all that good stuff. If you don't find here, what you have searched, you can't find it
anywhere else (but I'm not absolutely sure - 99,9%) ... ;-)

All material, you find in the Download-section, is useable for free - absolute NOTHING to pay for private or commercial USE.
Yes, you can make music or whatever you want with the software and sell it. But the software itself MUST NOT BE SELLED.
But you can spread it for free. A license-fee is no longer necessary.
You find there near all published versions of Bars&Pipes.

At the top of the Download-section you find a link to a complete-download of the content of the Download-section in one file.
It maybe more handy, than to dowload all the single files - but this is your decision.

You find there also a scanned and to HTML-converted original-manual of the Bars&Pipes Pro 2.5b.
A printed version -- sorry I don't have it.

BTW.:
You may test my furtherdeveloped version of B&P Pro 2.5 called BarsnPipes New - last version 1.29 (or version 29).
With the help of the B&P-community I've try over the years to remove as much of known bugs as possible, and I've integrated many many
new functions. All declared in the Addenum-guide - you should know the B&P Pro - manual before.

You can find a lot of additional Tools and Accessories (also bug-cleaned and furtherdeveloped versions of known Tools
and Accessories - especially the MIDI-files Import/Export Accessory "sMerFF" - the original have had a hard export bug)
..... and much more.

You also may use BarsnPipes (Bars&Pipes) on the emulator WinUAE under Windows. It works very well here.
WinUAE is the only AMIGA-emulator, which has completely implemented MIDI.
(I've done this partialy :-).) WinUAE works with all MIDI-Devices, which are recognized by Windows - of course
also all USB-MIDI-devices.
If you want to make a try, I highly recommend to buy the "AMIGA Forever"-distribution by Cloanto.
https://www.amigaforever.com/
For only ~30 EURO you get a complete Software AMIGA with licensed ROM-files of all Kickstart-versions available,
and the AMIGA OSs from 1.3 to 3.9 with a big (fat) bundle of AMIGA-software.

Now I'm a older and somewhat ill men, and I no longer involved in the furtherdevelopment of BarsnPipes.
But nevertheless, you may ask me, if you have question. If I'm able - I'll give you possible help.

Have a lot of fun with BarsnPipes.

Kindly,
Alfred
And also thanks Femuruy for pointing me in the right direction!
