How can I ascertain if my kickstart is remapped from rom to ram? Borrowed an a3460 040 card from a friend and it has a 'remap rom' jumper set to on. I installed it into my a3000/25 with kickstart 3.1.4

Thank you.

I wonder how a remap rom jumper works... Does it tell Workbench to look to the hard drive or something for the rom? One way I can tell with my software rom switching setup is to use SysInfo, when I use my 1.3 system to switch to 2.04 SysInfo will show 512k of my GVP RAM remapped as the actual ROM, also my GVP ram which would normally show 8 megabytes of RAM will only show 7 1/2 there. Not just that 7 1/2 is available, that the entire RAM board is only 7 1/2 when I know it to be 8, and shows as 8 when using SysInfo on my default 1.3 ROM. It's also possible to use a different ROM while not actually remapping it. Much less compatible that way, but I think in that scenario it just takes from the global RAM and won't actually list itself in SysInfo. Hope that helps, and let me know if taking a pic of exactly what mine is saying would do any good.
