I really wanted to, but I just could not. Not only from a price point of view, but I am spreading myself too thin across all my hobbies. Commodore is my focus, although I will stand along the side lines and admire the Spectrum Next.

I got a Sam Coupe for Christmas one year, honestly I have no desire for another barely supported super-spectrum. I accept that there's a huge amount of effort gone into the Next. Sam Coupe too. I just wouldn't use it enough to justify the price tag. I have tons of Spectrums I don't use either.
I did! Issue 1 and now issue 2; for a spare you understand!
