I have an Amiga 1000 and no 15khz video cable (the 23 pin one). I'm currently using the composite video out into a 1702 monitor. It's terrible.

I have a 1084s monitor but for the life of me cannot find a 23 pin to din socket video cable for the Amiga 1000. Has anyone had any experience with this? Why are the video cables so hard to find?

I've made my own in the past. It was pretty easy but required cutting a DB25 connector down to 23 pins.

Thanks for the links. I'll be ordering a cable tonight!

A.mi.goun over at AmiBay built me a buffered DB23 to DIN cable for my 1084S and the picture quality is outstanding. That might be something worth checking out.
