Any one familiar with how to address a 1571 Drive that is testing at 370rpm. I know theres no speed adjustment on the 1571, is there nothing that can be done?

Is it supposed to be 300RPM? Yours is ... going too fast?

The 1571 has a fixed speed. When you wanted to install a SuperCard back in the day or a RAMboard you had to install a speed controller in the 1571, which is a simple circuit with some resistors and a pot. I don't remember the details but can guarantee Jim Drew @ CBM stuff would know. 370 RPM is way off so not sure how you would diagnose that.

Interestingly the Sams 1571 Disk Drive facts book shows that VR1on the drives board is a spindle speed control but I am not sure this is correct.
