The A2500 has much better stock performance primarily because it shipped with at least 2MB of FastRAM on the A2620 board. A stock A1200 has no FastRAM whatsoever which largely restricts out of the box performance.

Has anyone tested the accelerator in an 500/2000?
A1200 had no fast RAM. Wasn't just a bus width issue.
