Mine is a PAL XM4061618NP with PSU 06/86, with the blue Commodore logo on the front panel. Paceiro II+ is on the way.

Interesting to know: is it a "real" PAL or does it still have the kickstart daughterboard?

No daughterboard - is it only the very early PAL models that had the mezzanine?

The early A1000s for the European/Australian market came with a modded "Rev. A" NTSC board that had been minimally adapted for use in PAL regions. Those boards all contained the "mezzanine" WCS daughterboard. They were simply fitted with a 8367 PAL Agnus and a few minor changes were made to some passive components in the composite video output stage. Despite these modifications the composite signal was still only b/w.

Your board is a real PAL board. Besides the missing daughterboard, it has an extra crystal which provides the 4.433619 MHz PAL color burst for the composite video out.

Hello 👋, my first post here on this page. I am very happy as I bought the A1000 which is ultra rare to find one here in Malta EU. Then I remembered this website and was eager to post and share with you.

Serial number is XM 4121999 (Made in Japan)

Can you please guide me on how to know which revision is the motherboard? As you most probably know, mine came without the daughterboard and has the C=Commodore logo on the front panel.

First off, welcome!

Secondly, I'm not sure there are actual revision numbers for the motherboards like there are for other Amiga models.

Need to grab mine. It’s a very early release model. As far as I know I was one of the first to get one in Santa Clara when they released. I’ve had it ever since the first day they went on sale. Curious to see what number it is now.
