Do not get me wrong, I love the noise of the Amiga ticking over but I have tried a number of suggested softwares from Aminet and they do not seem to fully stop the clicking. I would say the closest solution I have found is to use anticlick which does not stop the ticking but seems to vastly reduce the noise level.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Cheers.

Not really. I used to use the respective feature from MultiCX. Worked flawless as advertised.

Every drive is different. On some, the clicking will go away completely.. on others you can faintly hear it or worse yet it becomes even louder. I've swapped internal drives just for this in the past, with my A1000 originally having a drive that didn't respond to this at all.

Good luck.
