.. so I have this A2000. Works fine when I run it with an accelerator but when I only use the 68K CPU I get a green screen when powering it up. I've tried to swap CPU to another 68K from a A500 that works fine but the end result in the A2000 is the same.

Anyone know why my A2000 behaves this way?

Thanks.

Could it be the original 68000 CPU socket has an issue?

Could be. I haven't seen any damage or corrosion around it but maybe I should get the motherboard out and check underneath it?

For both of the A2000s I have the CPU sockets had to be replaced even though they seemed to look OK. I also needed to replace one of the ROM sockets because of corrosion.

Mouser still sells those sockets, in case you need any.
