As you guys will no doubt be aware, there was a major internet outage yesterday, affecting a number of websites. Imagine my surprise when I saw that The Guardian ( A UK Newspaper ) was returning a Guru Meditation Error code:

This doesn't mean that The Guardian web server is running on an Amiga 4000. :D

Apparently, the error message is coming from Varnish, which is an http accelerator. What's more if you look more closely, it actually says Guru Mediation, rather than Meditation. The makers of Varnish had to change it because when people were Googling their error messages, they we getting Amiga websites in the results instead. :D

Still - it's a nice little Easter Egg embedded in the Error message. Certainly brightened up my day yesterday. Good to know that Guru Meditation messages are still a thing, outside of the Amiga.

LOL.

VirtualBox fatal error is also a "Guru Meditation".
