Cool photo editing software I discovered

by Dynamic_Computing Tue Aug 21, 2018 10:21 pm

I was listening to one of the video casts from the guys at and they mentioned a nice photo editing program for the Amiga.
It is called Grimm - and it looks like development stopped around 2001, but the software is still available at
It has different version for 68000 up to 68060 cpu's and can load and save jpg, iff, bmp, Tiff and more formats. There are a ton of editing, resizing, coloring, and other features. It does a great job converting 24 bit jpg files to HAM6 and HAM8.
I have been using TV Paint for a lot of work, but it is Overkill for some of the editing I need to do. Grimm is fast and does an incredible job.
The version on Aminet is 1.5 something, but the version on the website I linked to is 1.76
Check it out - I think you will find it useful.
