I've scored one more A1000, my fourth (and final). This one is going to make me sell one of my previous finds which was in perfect working condition but apparently left out in the desert sun. A bit yellow.
This one, however, is absolutely perfect. There is only the very slightest of tints on the right side of the keyboard, and I can only see it if I look at it in the right angle under the right lighting conditions.
I quickly flipped it over to open it and put in one of MKL's 68000 RAM boards. That's when it struck me: I don't think this machine has ever been opened before. Every screw looks completely virgin (that sounds weird).
I put the RAM inside and snapped it all back together. Just look at her. Pure perfection.
I'm done source A1000s for now. Time to purge again. Just in time for another really strange find that is on its way that I can't wait to share with you guys.
