I don't know, and have already put it all back together. That's the one thing I hate about the 1000 -- how much of a pita it is to open up and work on.
No worries. Revisión 6 has a copper backplane, and yours certainly doesn’t. Was just checking for confirmation if it were possible.obitus1990 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 9:53 amI don't know, and have already put it all back together. Hi! New to this site and I hope its OK to ask. Where did you find the ram-adapters?olDirdey wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 7:32 amWith a knife tip they are easy to solder. I am using another kind of SOJ to DIP adapter, they are bit smaller and can fit on each socket.obitus1990 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 6:38 pmA few more steps of assembly completed as parts arrive. These SOJ to DIP adapters are a pain (I hate soldering J-leg ICs)
I've been wondering / hoping the same thing - future proof the RAM installation, and use with an 8372A while upgrading to an 8375 via adapter or something at a later point...obitus1990 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 8:09 pmI am curious to know if you put an 8372A 1MB Agnus in the socket, then populate the memory banks with the 1Mx4 adapter-borne RAM if it would use that as 1MB (even though it is 2MB there) instead of having to populate all 8 with the 256kx4 RAMs. Does anyone know?
