Have you guys been following Bradford Morgan White's publication on Substack called Abort Retry Fail which covers computing history? Each post is usually a 10-15 minute read on a different landmark company or piece of software.

Some recent posts include: There is a part 3, too, (subtitled, "Are you keeping up with the Commodore?") but at this time it is currently behind a pay-wall.

Some previous posts that put the blog on my radar initially: There a ton more in his catalog. Simply scanning the titles is quite the trip down memory lane.

Note:
"Abort, Retry, Fail?" is an error message found in DOS operating systems, which prompts the end-user for a course of action to follow. Although welcomed by some, the message also has been cited as an example of poor usability in computer user interfaces. -- Wikipedia
