This seems like a good enough place to ask a related question that, strangely, I have not found an answer for on Hyperion's site-- Can I install my OS 3.1.4 on more than one Amiga?
I purchased my physical ROM and floppy set for an A2000. Since I registered my Kickstart ROM on Hyperion's site, I only have access to download the Modules disk for an A500/A600/A2000.
When I attempted a test install under WinUAE (emulating an A1200 w/ kickstart 3.1.4 ROM), it asks for the Modules disk for an A1200. Of course, I do not have this. Truth be told, I do not even know what the Modules disk is for.
Could I alter my test install to ask for my A2000 modules disk instead, just to complete the install or would my A1200 WinUAE system now be messed up because I supplied the wrong disk?
What's the point of all this? Well, I want to see how the OS performs under WinUAE A1200 emulation before purchasing a ROM kit for that model.
