Hi

I am in the same process as you were, cleaning corrosion from my A3000 motherboard.
I have a couple of questions:
1. How is your board now?
2. What did you use to paint the corroded area under the battery?
3. Have you done anything since to the board?
1. Everything works except the flicker fixer circuit, it has sparkling and noise in the image. I think it is bad RAM. Have not bothered to check more as I have 15khz monitors.
2. Standard Green Curable PCB paint, search on eBay or Amazon, make sure to clean everything first, this is to just protect the bare traces.
3. Replaced the chip RAM with all new, I get 2MB total, just responding now :) Since then I have added just Zorro cards (Network and RTG) and SCSI to SD. I assume the existing RAM was just the wrong type.
