I am currently playing Baldurs Gate 3.
Is it revolutionary? No.
Is it fun? Yes.
Most of all, it is an impressive step forward with regards to player/world-interaction. The possibilities of manipulation are finally significantly surpassing the Ultima - style things. Like, you can even pick up (small) enemies and use them as a weapon to throw them at other enemies.
Impressive. Even if, for role playing reasons, I liked Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous better.
