So disaster struck and I'm now in a position to have to replace my floppy drive on my Amiga 1000. I'm not going to do a hack job with a gotek, but found an alternative that even has a speaker to make floppy sounds at appropriate times. I found a 3d print structure to put it in place. I have one for my amiga 500 and I trust the Goex. Now it's time to bring my Amiga 1000 back to life yet again.

Here's the link to the 3d print if anyone else ever ends up in my boat:

I'm guilty of checking everyday. I have two: one for my 500 and one "with pills" for my Amiga 1000.

do you know if the "with pills" versions will work along with an rgb2hdmi adapter? best of both worlds - crisp HDMI output, along with onscreen menu for the goex

I'm not sure. I use a 1080 monitor or an ossc when we are playing in the living room. I suspect it does drive the rgb2hdmi is converting the analog rgb signal, but I can't confirm.
