Hi Amigalovers,

I am under the impression that old Atari news also are interesting here…

Here is a new release for the 2600 of a game not released back then

It is not a complete new release but a game not finished back then.
Sort of cool!

Could be a nice X-Mas addition for my 7800.

:)

Cheers,
McT

I saw that, too, as I got an email notification from Atari about it yesterday. I actually went to the product page and considered it for a little while.

And while a novel idea, I didn't pull the trigger. On the fence. While an interesting backstory, the name of the game and box art felt a bit generic to me. I could be totally wrong and the site claims it could even change (the art, not the name).

It is guaranteed to sell out, though, so we have to make up our minds fairly soon.

Yeah I am on that fence with you. If they were a bit cheaper it would be easier. But $60 for a 2600 game that was basically finished in 1983 has me thinking about it more instead of just buying it. $39 and I would do it.

Unfortunately these days with the high cost of living I have to consider the price where as a couple of years ago that was usually not a factor...
