The tiny little protruding clips on lid part are one issue. One broken off but also the matching hole attachment on main body broken where it catches.
I tried rebuilding with plastic weld etc but just can’t do it.
Is there a way to put four new (metal) on lid and main body to replace?

I don't think I've ever encountered an A1000 with all of its tabs and latches still intact. I own 5 and I could care less. You could try the super glue and baking soda trick, but your mileage may vary.

In the past few days, super glue , jb weld plastic weld. The problem is the tight tolerance to get them to latch. Leaving it alone is fine except the lid doesn’t sit flush and shows gaps. Unless my while computer case
is out of alignment.

I have one clip busted on mine and have really wanted to try and fix it someday.

If you ever find a solution I'd be curious as to the fix. I had 2 clips pop off recently on one of my machines and was sad to see the plastic simply crumble off like dust. But, at least when you're using screws it gets held nice and tight. But yeah, the seams can bow out a little bit if you have a heavy monitor up-top like I do.
