I have and A500 with a PiStorm. When creating the SD card for the PiStorm I copied a couple virtual disk files to the card. Unfortunately, I did not leave enough free space on the SD card for other things.

One virtual drive is 50GB in size, as a single partition.

Is it possible to resize the Amiga partition in the virtual drive? If so, will it make the file size of the virtual drive smaller?

I'm trying to avoid having to recreate the drive from scratch.

My understanding is if you try to resize a partition you will have to reformat the partition and start over.

Been there, done that with my A500 and PiStorm setup. Resize can be a bit tricky, but doable. Look into ADF Opus or similar tools, they might help adjust the partition size without starting from scratch.
