Hey folks,
I've been following this video series and thought some of you would be a prime audience for it. The conceit of the series is detailing how an Amiga 1000 at launch, was a compelling and affordable workstation. The host takes us through a few setups and scenarios via UAE, configured to represent period correct software and hardware solutions that would have been available to a burgeoning programmer or engineer.
This hit me right in the feels as my story with my A500 was very much a desire to setup a machine like we're getting to in the series but not having the funds as a poor school kid. I did eventually set my childhood A500 up as a development environment I would have loved with Workbench 1.3, which was how I ended up find you lovely people.
Anyway, here's the link, go enjoy the series.
