I use a calculator fairly often at work. I only need it for quick-hit simple arithmetic, and I've never really liked desktop application calculators.
For years I've had a cheap Texas Instruments solar calc at the ready the TI-1766+ - the "original" solar calculator. Although "plus" must mean plastic, in my case. It's a fine machine and gets the job done.
But the Commodore calculators are not expensive at all. And they do look very cool. So it was time for an upgrade. Any excuse to get a little more Commodore love in all my various environments.
